Alt + F4 - Computer - WoW - Misc
Posted on: 2010-10-13 03:47:45

I had this fairly long post last night about my addiction to not doing anything, well, any thing significant. I talked about how I couldn't really blame a WoW addiction or internet addiction or TV, because I would always find something else useless but interesting to take my attention. Of course, while writing it, I was watching a podcast. When the podcast was over, I clicked the window, then hit Alt + F4 (my two favorite keys), but instead of it closing my media player (that is what Alt + F4 does, by the way, invokes the 'Close Application' function in Windows), it closed EVERY open window. The media player, my browser (with my post), and two file managers (or two instances of the same file manager if you want to be picky). I was annoyed, so I went to bed. I totally forgot about it until I just fired up the page to post about WoW, and noticed it wasn't there. Exciting, I know. It is so exciting, that I am not going to post about WoW now, I am just going to go to bed. Maybe I will talk about the cluster fuck that are patch days tomorrow.

Yeah, ALT + F4... That is what all of those leet speaking folk in MMOs say when someone asks, "What key does XYY?" =) I've been burnt before like that as well. Once bitten, twice shy is my attitude toward using it now. However, it is one of the many questions that I could be asked on my next exam: Linux+. Oh, yes, I did have something seemingly constructive to say, but it alludes me at this time: http://isc.sans.edu/diary.html?date=2010-10-12

Do I get an achievement or an AA point for passing another one? =)
