Three things to take away from the RNC

1.) McCain is a war hero and they beat the living hell out of him when he was imprisoned. 2.) Obama isn't qualified. And if you paid attention to the counting process, 3.) Votes for Ron Paul don't count.
Hope you haven't wasted your life hoping they would talk about anything else, like I did, because they really didn't. Everything they said goes back to 1 and 2, and some of the stuff they didn't say goes to number 3.

Hey come on now, Palin has experience with foreign policy because she lives next to Russia, she also has experience dealing with Santa Claus because she lives so close to the north pole.
Huh?

McCain is not a war hero per veterans: link
Of course Obama isn't qualified: first link and then second Link
As for Ron Paul, well, the establishment doesn't want you to wake up: Link
The establishment would rather you remain complacent and vote for one of the two republicrats in order to keep big business and bankers in power. It's called fascism.
Okay, now I'll step down off my soapbox.
Libertarians

Yeah I would vote libertarian, except I like roads and other basic amenities.

There are other parties than repubs, demos, and libertarians. There are Constitutionalists, Green Party, etc. Personally, I'm a Republican that cannot stand the direction the Neo-Cons have taken the party. I voted for a Republican in the primaries, alas, the ten term Republican Congressman was ridiculed and shunned by his own party for talking about freedom, liberties, and obeying the Constitution.
I do not see how Libertarians have anything to do with roads and basic amenities, since they do not speak to removing gasoline taxes or local taxes. They do speak to smaller govt and no personal income tax, which only pays a fraction of the debt to the privately owned central bank.
The Constitution is an amazing document. It specifically states what the federal govt can and cannot do. Everything else is left to the states and The People.

Libertarians believe in federal govt only doing what the constitution says it can, and nowhere does it say the federal govt has to fund road construction, social welfare, govt regulation of businesses, etc.. so everything we take for granted would be eliminated by them. They also believe in returning to the gold standard which pretty much every other country on the planet has abandonded. Also we'd probably have to give back the Louisiana purchase because it doesn't say anywhere the govt can buy land from other countries.
I like roads. :)

I can't say a whole lot. I don't think there's a party in the United States that meshes at all with most of my ideas, but if a socialist party ever seriously starts up, you know where I'll stand. ;) Maybe I just lived in France too long...
Sweet!

I just found Eugene V. Debs' socialist party on-line. I'm gonna read up on it. I wonder if it's still around...
