I am still trying to move everything around. Yesterday, I spent a couple of hours getting the two bedrooms in order...ish. While I was actually going at it with a focus on organization, it really seemed like I was just making stable perches for the cat. I did pitch some stuff that I am sure the wife won't notice as well as combine some boxes that we only remember because they are there and not because we know what is in them. I also picked up the few boxes that had managed to escape the nook (mostly my art supplies) and imprison them there again. The closets are less unwieldy (because wieldy sounds odd) now. The wife had been talking about moving the second dresser into the guest room, which I did last week, but I opted to use the bottom couple of drawers with sheets and blankets. I am sure it is not quite what she was thinking, but I don't really see people unpacking into dressers when they are just staying a few days.
I have dismantled my tabletop video setup and I will probably drop the entire idea for now. I had thought it would be fun to do a weekly sketch video but it did not seem to matter how much or little effort I put into the lighting, the crappy little camera proved it was a crappy little camera. Combine that with the medium, cheap (as in free) software, and no control over the conversion process the movies were dark, overly pixelated, and grainy (grainy pixels or pixelated grains?). Of the dozens of demo runs I did, I only saved three. If you want to see some badness you can check them out on youtube.com. I might go back to this idea someday, but I doubt it.
