I've been intending to put up a holiday post for about two weeks now... and now I'm getting to it. The main building for the dorms has a bulletin that encourages people to think about some subject. Take a guess at what one of them was... Yep, chirstmas. But not to seem like they were showing favoritism to the chirstians, the people who put it up added all of the other "holidays" that occur in December. Yet the christians still had more "fun facts" than the other holidays. This annoyed me, and a lot of others. It started with people writing the history of the pagan holiday. Later people made fun of the fact that Kwanzaa wasn't a "real" holiday. I hadn't heard about it since I was in grade-school... that shows how much of an impact it had on me. Eventually someone pointed out that all of the holidays on the board couldn't be considered real. At the end of it all, I got that the people who made the board were stupid and bias, Kwanzaa probably isn't celebrated by anyone, and that religions are a pain in the ass and downright stupid... I hate people so much...
On a bit of a more positive note, finals are over and I think I did alright. Though I'm still a little bit annoyed at Mom and Dad for trying to pick me up right after my last final... I told them that I was going to need time to pack. The first thing I learn as I enter the apartment is that they are practically there... I should have just told them to pick me up on Saturday... I could have spent the entire break there if I wanted to. Kind of out of money though... While finals are over and what not, my insane dreams that I have been having, due to the stress caused by them, have not. Ug...
Now for some fun stuff. I've come to learn that Dad has started to use a screen saver, specifically a photo screen saver. I intend on throwing a picture into it and see how long it takes for him to notice. I would have done it yesterday... neh, I'll just do it the next time I'm home.
