I decided to hook Murphy to the internet so I could play around with a game. After a while I decided to look up an anime that I might watch later. After a bit Firefox bitches about Windows Explorer. You might be thinking, "Why the hell would Firefox bitch about Windows Explorer?" Well I did too. But before I did anything Murphy fired up some random ass anti-virus shit and was scanning his hard drive. After it got down and complained that I needed to upgrade to a "superior" (in other words I would need to pay money for it to even do anything, aside from scanning my computer) I unplugged Murphy from the wall (his internet cable). I tried to run AVG and Spybot Search and Destroy, but Murphy would whine that the executable was infected. In reality "that's the virus talking." Coupled with a mockery of the Windows colors, the wrong internet explorer, and everything not working because it was infected, it was safe to say that Murphy ended up fucking the raunchiest whore on the web and contracted every ITD (Internet Transmitted Disease) out there... or at least the worst possible one.
After several cruelly hours of talking to Talam and fucking around with bootable antivirus and burning software, I have come to this point in time. This point in time is where I take my tired overburden brain and rack it around trying to decide what I should do. Should I continue working with bootable antivirus software? Go to sleep and try doing something else another day? Finally put the final nail back into the coffin for Murphy? Or the least appealing of them all, someday take it down and have Talam look at it and try to fix it. (FYI Talam is the one suggesting putting the final nail in the coffin for the last time. He is the most sick of Murphy and his problems that I would rather not try this route for as long as I can... As much as I hate giving up on Murphy...)
"What is the big fucking deal? You have a kick ass laptop, don't you?" Yes, I do. Lucy is fucking awesome and I love the fact that I have her. I just like having a desktop and a Windows XP one at that. But I can't really find any justification to keeping Murphy anymore... Those are two of the biggest reasons if we exclude all of the data on him... And the data isn't really a big concern anyways! There aren't any major programs on him. No documents that I need or are so important that I would risk moisture damage to get them back. Nothing but games, pictures, anime, and music... Whip dee fucking do... It isn't like I can't devote my time to getting them back if I really wanted them. And if they don't all fit on Lucy, I can always get my ass off of my chair and work at getting a fucking external hard drive.
Nothing more than the crying of a child that lost his favorite stuffed animal...
