So, school is almost to a close again. I have to grace Science of Color with my presence once more on Monday and take a 20 minute test in Photoshop on Tuesday and I am done. All in all, I think I learned far more this semester than the last one even though this semester will temporarily drag down my GPA. I, uh, kinda forgot about my online class for about 3 weeks and was dropped/failed/whatever. Sad thing was, I actually enjoyed the material, I just get overly distracted when behind the computer and tend to procrastinate a lot when I have a lot of free time. Oh well, live and learn. I am retaking the class on campus in the fall, and it will overwrite my current grade. Other than that, I am fairly sure I pulled off 2 A's (Illustrator and Science of Color) and a B (Photoshop).
In my upcoming free time, I think I am going to redesign the site. Maybe not a complete overhaul, but I would like to play with the colors some. I had been planning on some rather drastic playing, changing the backend to an AJAX app, but I think I am going to drop that. Within 24 hours of my last mention of it, I read about a demo of just the same thing I had been planning, I played with it, and it sucked hard core...too slow and bulky. I think I might have mentioned building an image script or something, and I am abandoning that for the forseeable future as well and relying on Gallery2. I have been going through a lot of my images and organizing them. Hopefully within a week or two I will get the bulk of what I want up on the gallery. It is kinda like a slightly less evolved flckr set up, but it handles everything for me and it is provided by my hosting service.
This weekend is going to be busy. Rumor has it Damien is coming up tomorrow. Erin is defending her thesis, I have an art show to attend and art to bring home, and we are playing DnD on Saturday. Maybe Sunday we will all run to the movies or something, no clue. Oh well, now it is time for sleep...I think, or GTA.
